Bus Info

The Transportation Department continues to finalize our routes for the 24-25 school year. Eligible bus riders are students living OVER 1 mile from their school of attendance.

All parents with bus riders using either a rural or town/perimeter stop are strongly encouraged to use the Stopfinder app. An invitation to Stopfinder has been emailed to students' primary contacts. Parents who subscribed to Stopfinder in previous years will not receive a new email; those accounts are still active. Parents who have requested busing and receive the invitation email should download the Stopfinder app.

Why is Stopfinder a good tool for parents? The App allow parents to:

  • View their student’s daily transportation details 

  • Securely share their student’s transportation schedule with caregivers 

  • Receive notifications and updates related to transportation 

  • Send real-time vehicle location notifications when GeoAlerts are created

Once the App is downloaded, parents should verify busing details. Please email Jill at lamoureuxj@greenecountycsd.net if you have any questions or need to make changes to your child's busing. As an added layer of communication, drivers will contact rural families directly to confirm bus details.

Typically, route pick up and drop off times solidify as drivers and students grow accustomed to each other's schedules/routines. However, it is important for parents to remember that these times are approximate. The following factors impact bus times and cause delays: weather conditions, traffic/construction, and which students are, or aren't, riding that day.
