We are asking the public to help "Turn Greene County Purple" on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Everyone in Greene County is asked to wear something purple or wear a purple ribbon to raise public awareness as we work to end domestic violence against men, women, and children. The purple ribbon is a visible gesture of support for survivors and victims of domestic violence. Unfortunately, domestic violence is far too prevalent. Greene County has had 53 domestic abuse calls and 25 suspected abusers arrested for domestic abuse assault so far this year. Please plan to wear purple on Tuesday, October 29. There will be purple ribbons available at the high school, Thomas Jefferson Gardens, and the Jefferson Public Library. Thank you for your support.

Your support is what makes these events exciting and fun, but it's important that we all do our part to create a positive and safe environment. To ensure everyone enjoys the game: Stay Safe: Please make sure you're located with your parents, families, or stay within the designated areas provided on the map. Administrators will direct students to these areas. As a reminder, there will be NO sports equipment items allowed during the football game. Be Respectful: Show good sportsmanship to the opposing team and respect fellow fans, staff, and security. Be Responsible: Follow our school and district’s guidelines, respect the facilities, and make smart choices throughout the event.
