Greene County Community School District was recently awarded a grant in the amount of $18,953 from the Greene County Community Foundation. The money received in this grant will be used to purchase 30 Meta Quest 2 virtual reality headsets, charging carts, and 300 student licenses to the Prisms Math and Science Virtual Reality curriculum. With Prisms, students will be placed in immersive, real-world scenarios where they are charged with using the math and science they’re learning in class in real-world situations. Instructors will be able to track student progress through a web management portal and identify areas of strength and areas in need of improvement for each student. This hardware and software will supplement learning in high school math and science classes beginning next school year. Greene County Community School District is very grateful for this generous grant from the Greene County Community Foundation. Thank you Greene County Community Foundation for all you do for the school and the community!
