Greene County High Environmental Studies students and their teacher Ms. Raelynn Harris worked with members of the Jefferson Tree Committee to plant trees at the Jefferson Animal Shelter this afternoon. Students learned about the importance of trees and the appropriate way to plant and care for them. In total, 28 various types of trees were planted around the property. Thank you to the Jefferson Tree Committee for providing a great learning and service experience to our students!
