GCHS students had the opportunity to attend CTE Day at the Capitol in Des Moines on Tuesday, February 11. Students had the opportunity to talk with Senator Green and Representative Nordman regarding the importance of Career Tech Education. Students also were able to visit with other students from schools throughout the state of Iowa. Mr. Swartz and Mrs. Garnett took FCCLA members, IJAG members and CTE students to the Capitol. While in Des Moines, we also delivered pop tabs to the Ronald McDonald House. The Prairie Lakes District FCCLA had collected them, with GCHS contributing the most!
