GCMS Students had the opportunity to deliver 545 items to the Food Pantry yesterday! Items were collected as part of the staff monthly challenges. We are proud of our staff and students for always wanting to give back to the community. #goRams

Join us for the Greene County Middle School winter concert this evening, starting at 7:00 in the high school auditorium. The event will kick off with the 5th-grade band, followed by performances from the 5th-8th grade student choirs. Greene County Community School will be holding the monthly board meeting at the admin building (101 Ram Drive, Jefferson, IA) this evening beginning at 5:15 PM. The public is welcome to attend. 8th grader Cora Powers has been selected to perform in All Iowa Middle School Honor Band, which is the top honor band in the state of Iowa. She will perform at the Iowa Bandmasters Convention in Des Moines in May. Congratulations, Cora!

GCMS Fall Picture Retakes are tomorrow morning!

GCMS Families- We will not be allowing students to wear costumes tomorrow at school. While Halloween is undoubtedly a fun and festive occasion, it can pose various challenges when it comes to maintaining a conducive learning environment and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Students will be asked to change if they arrive at GCMS wearing any of the following: costumes, masks, face paint, and/or onesie pajamas, etc. Thanks! Cara Osborne GCMS Principal

Please make plans to join us for our Fall Family Night on Monday, October 30th 4:00-7:00. We are looking forward to welcoming all the families into the building. The Book fair will be open!

TODAY'S THE DAY / AFTER SCHOOL BUSING CHANGE: Starting Tue, Oct 24th, elem students who ride to Trinity Lutheran Church (801 W Lincolnway) AFTER SCHOOL will be riding bus #8, with approx drop off time at 3:26pm. This change is due to overcrowding. MS/HS students who ride to Trinity Lutheran will continue to ride bus #1 after school. The morning bus schedule from Trinity Lutheran will NOT change; all riders board bus #1.
